About
I was born in 1984, the eldest child of Italian-American parents in the city of Chelsea, Massachusetts. I went to Our Lady of Grace from pre-school up through junior high. I performed well in school, generally straight A’s, and excelled in math and English. I earned a scholarship to attend Newman Prep (now, The Newman School) in the city of Boston. While maintaining good grades, I participated in several extra-curriculars, among them Theatre and Forensics (Speech and Debate). In addition to several Advanced Placement classes, and taking part in advanced Spanish classes, I was allowed to pick up University courses in my final year, complimenting my language skills with introductory Italian.
I went on to pursue Theatre through a scholarship to Suffolk University. Throughout my time in college, I held down part-time jobs, most notably at the Island Alliance and the Huntington Theatre Company. After sometime spent studying abroad, I returned to Suffolk University to earn my Bachelor’s degree in 2006, at which time I had the opporunity to begin working at Suffolk University’s Office of Advancement Communication. While I had a great position and learned many new skills, my passion for travel eventually led to me pursuing a postgraduate at University College Cork, in Ireland.
Now, with my degree in hand, I have returned to Boston. I am seeking a role (mainly at non-profit organisations, but would not rule out any opportunities) in a fast-paced environment where my capable, diverse background will be utilised to the fullest. My work ethos makes me a motivated team-player with a plethora of skills, and the capacity to learn and excel rapidly.
